Chad is a native of Oklahoma, now calling Aurora home since 2002. In high school, Chad was a varsity athlete in both football and track. As an 18-year veteran of the U.S. Army, Chad spent a career training soldiers and leading teams. Chad is an avid martial artist of 27 years, holding the rank of black belt in Kenpo Karate and Kenpo-Jujitsu. He is certified in the recognition and education on bully behavior and prevention.
Chad has an undergraduate degree in health and safety science and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES). Additionally, Chad is certified in tactical and functional strength development through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA-TCS) and also holds professional membership with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is also proficient in performance nutrition, program development, functional movement science, first aid, trauma triage, and CPR/AED certified.
Chad prides himself on the ability to lead teams through positive motivation, intrinsic skill recognition, and dedication to achieve excellence in ourselves and the athletes and peers he is blessed to work with.
